All Pirates love Pirate-cookies – Recipe

Pirates love coins with jewels and no true pirate can keep their hands away when he sees these delicious cakes that “glitter and sparkle of precious jewels and gems”.

Here is the recipe for the Pirate cookies (40 pcs.)

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1 ¾ cups flour
• 75 g butter or margarine
• 2 cups Brown Sugar
• 1 pinch of salt
• 2 tsp Vanilla Sugar
• 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
• 1 cup chocolate buttons like m&m’s
  

Procedure

1. Beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy with an electric whisk.
2. Add the egg and stir it well.
3. Mix the remaining ingredients and work them thoroughly into the mixture.
4. Use spoons to put blobs of dough onto baking sheets lined with baking paper.
5. Bake in center of oven at 200° C for approx. 10 minutes.
6. Let them cool on a wire rack.
