Delicious Recipe for Muffins with Creamy Tops

Hi found this recipe for some delicious creamy muffins and thought it might me just share with you.

Muffins are often quite easy to make and this recipe is no exception. They can be used to supplement birth day food and cake, or instead of birthday cake.

Ingredients you need for these muffins(approx. 20-25 pcs.) are:

  •  4 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
  • 250 g sugar
  • 200 g Pure Raw Marzipan
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 150 g melted butter

 

The procedure for the muffins are:

  1. Eggs and sugar whipped up.
  2. Grated marzipan mixed with wheat flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar.
  3. Blend it all together and finally add the melted butter.
  4. Distribute cake mass in the various cupcake molds and bake at 180 ° C for 20 min.

The creamy tops can be made in different colors, here with 2 different chocolate creams:

  • Dark Chocolate for melting
  • White chocolate for melting
  • Whipping cream

 

How do you cream your muffins:

  1. Chop 100 g of one color chocolate and pour into a saucepan with 1 cup whipping cream.
  2. Warm it up gently, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted.
  3. Pour into a bowl and whisk the mixture with a hand mixer for approx. 10 minutes or until it is glossy and creamy.
  4. Put the chocolate mixture in a piping bag and decorate the cakes.
  5. Follow steps 1-4 again, but with the second color chocolate, so you have 2 different colors of cream.
    Embellish imaginatively with nuts, sugar balls and grated chocolate or other muffins decoration.
